| Indeed. So who wins if the fight can't be avoided?

| Also would depend a lot on the circumstances where they fight and which objects are available to use. Let's not talk about the weather! Added (2009-12-25, 11:04 Am) --------------------------------------------- But if you count all the possibilities (that circumstances are all available and every object and weather doesn't matter), than I'd say that the smart guy would win in at least 80% of the fights.
Your resoning is excellent -- it's only your basic asumptions that are wrong.

| Well.. I would say that the weather doesn't really matter... since this is not a realistic situation, then I wrote that all opportunities are equal.. by that I meant that if 1 gets hits by a lightning or the blow from the wind then the other person gets hit by exactly the same from the same side (if first person gets hit on his left side by wind then the second person also gets hit in HIS left side) otherwise they wouldn't have equal opportunities. same goes for objects.. there has to be at least 2 of each the same distance from each person so...

| Yes I know, and in that part the smart guy would win. Let's say the wind is blowing 143 mph, which is half of the highest measured wind blow on Earth ... which means, whichever object you'd take to kill (not talking about guns) it would take lots of calculating or extreme strength (which you appernly don't have). That goes for weather ... if you'd be smart, it would usually mean you're good at observing (lots of practice), which would mean, you could use your environment more, so again I'd go for the smart guy.

| Quote (if first person gets hit on his left side by wind then the second person also gets hit in HIS left side) Your wind is weird ,it can hit in 2 opposites directionx at same time o.o

| yes I think Tura is right in his assumption, but he might give up because of the heavy wind I discussed this with Jilako yesterday... I told him that as long as we don't know EVERYTHING it will be impossible to predict ANYTHING. I think this will be my conclusion. btw.. I read an article once, about how it actually is possible to predict (in theory) how a person will act and move.. This requires that we know the movement (speed, direction and everything in that category) and physical abilities of EVERY SINGLE ATOM in the entire Universe. which so far is impossible (and who would like to know everything? Keep in mind that life will get boring)

| The borderline between stupidity and courage is small, and so is the one between smartness and cowardice.

| I was thinking about luck the other day... I started wondering about its meaning... I want to point out that I believe in something which I call "High concentration for a limited time" This means that for a sec or 2 you gain extreme overview and skills. This can happen anytime when adrenaline starts pumping into your veins (and yes.. also when playing games) So I was thinking of the meaning of luck... and I came to realize that luck doesnt exist when it is you who is in control. When something is completely out of your hands... Like a meteor hits the front of your car while diving instead of your head.. Now thats luck.. But lets say you are in a first person shooter game, like Call of Duty.. you make a very sharp move and gain a headshot.. Now that is not what I would call luck.. I would call it what I wrote before, which is a momentary boost of skill... Then ofc there is bad luck as well.. like the meteor actually hitting your head.. but if you are in control of things, then I dont believe in the term "luck"

| and what if u join a server, the first guy that runs in front of u carries ur flag and is on low hp, u kill him, 5 secs afterwards a lvl 10 slasher-warr comes accross ur way and u r lvl 6 in less than 1,5 mins (happened to me 1 day, so epic). and what bout lags? most of the kills i make vs tiny in colo r due to lags :-/ (well and some skill-boost from time to time ) no need concidering these arguments though, as they r quite narrow-minded^^ i'd agree with yah, ate. and also add that for a skilled session u need to feel the flow (especially for archer! my archer sux, but somedays, i just hit anything! tiny (or alni dunno ) jumps over my head and with pure anticipation and no look ----> baaaaam, kill in midair! happens once a year )
