Ok, just would like to know what films you would recommend anyone to watch overall all of the other films you have seen.

I'll start, the 3 films i would recommend above all else would be:

Watchmen - Just great story line about a group of heroes over a long period of time. The main heroes are just great and very unique.
Hangover - Pro funny and nice story line.
V for Vendetta - Great story lines of people overruling their oppressor.

Born In Darkness. Sworn To Justice.
Experience is simply the name we give our mistakes.

The Shawshank Redemption - A must-see movie for everyone. I think it's also top rated on IMDB.
Inception - An excellent movie talking about dreams and virtual reality. Worth watching, might even make you doubt about this universe.
Män som hatar kvinnor - It's the first part of the trilogy, but if you ask me, all three parts are awesome.

Your resoning is excellent -- it's only your basic asumptions that are wrong.

I watch any movie with subtitles.
Even English-speaking movies, I watch them with English Subtitles ... you learn a lot from that and there is no chance you misunderstand something.

1. Pride and Prejudice
2. The Rebound
3. A walk to remember

Jane Austen <3
Her books are brilliant as well smile

The rebound is just a good one, and a walk to remember makes even rocks cry.

1. Pride and Prejudice

The books, yes.
The miniseries, yes.
The movie, no (little too shortened if you ask me, specially because I watched it after the miniseries).

Aaah, the miniseries :P
You mean the BBC ones right?

I downloaded them and watched just about 20 seconds of it before I threw them all from my pc. The way the casted elizabeth there was just terrible.
In those few seconds, she... happily picks up a flower, and after seeing Darcy and Bingly arrive, she starts to go back home... with small childish jumps every time.

It's at that point I threw it all off my pc. That was to much for me to handle lol. Elizabeth is just not that person. :P

Yup, that's the one.
The one that has 9.3/10 rating on IMDB and was awarded best miniseries ever recorded after a book along with lots of nominations.

And yes, Elizabeth is exactly that person (and exactly as described in the book), the one you're having a picture of is the one from the movie which was described as an excellent movie that was awarded 4 (I think) Oscars, but not because of the characteristics, but because of the compression of events.

1) Wanted
2) 300
3) Evil (Ondskan (sweedish))

Wanted is the best movie I've seen so far. It has nice effects, and a nice story about a man who gains a life xD
300 is just awesome, with the storyline and epicness all the way through, and an awesome storyline
Evil is a movie about revenge, control and love. One of the best stories I've ever seen.

I'd also add Braveheart, but its 3 movies only so tongue
